COVID-19 Heroes: Following Her Heart

She is a mom with two small children. She is a wife and is active in her local church. She is an integral part of a global business team. She leads leaders every day with her incredible organizational and administrative skills. She loves to cook and makes delicious deserts

None of these things define this remarkable young woman.

To truly understand her heart, you have to know what she did last week. In the middle of this pandemic, with fear flowing across every social and news media outlet, she refused. She refused to allow fear to keep her from following her heart. She and her husband prepared multiple lunches for children who would have gone hungry with schools being closed. This leader did this without speaking a word of her deeds. I only found out through a third party. She continues to work from home, be a mother to two small children while finding the time to serve her community in a powerful and compassionate manner.

I realize that this example is repeated throughout the communities and cities in our country.Thank you, leaders, for stepping up in “such a time as this”. Thank you, Mo. Know that you a hero and that you are making a difference.
