A Legacy of Giving

Leaders come in all shapes and sizes. It doesn’t take long to identify the ones who are pursuing their own selfish agendas and those who truly care about others. Brian Cook is a leader who cares. He doesn’t just say he cares, he shows it. At the age of 37 he leads a large national corporation that employs well over a thousand team members. Brian has used his platform to give back, both on a national and international scale.

Brain Cook had every opportunity to take the easy way and focus on himself. Instead, he chose the more difficult path of learning to lead from the ground up. He followed in the footsteps of his family legacy by leading with an “others first” mentality. This has not always been easy, but it certainly has defined his character.

Listen to the intentionality in Brian’s voice. Hear him describe his journey to stand up a non-profit organization called Not Forgotten, that focuses on bringing help to Peruvian children who are vulnerable and in need. Take a few minutes to listen to the latest edition of our Crossing the Line podcast. This episode is a perfect example of what it means to lead with your head and your heart.

Selfless leaders like Brian are rare. He is a reminder to us that when we choose to lead with humility and service, we will make a difference.
