John Bentley - Doing the Hard Things

I will be the first to admit that I am not very “woke”. I’m really not even sure what it means. I do know that there is a trend in our society of people who think, “It’s all about me” and have a  “what’s in it for me” mindset. I believe we are woefully short on leaders who truly have a servant mentality of caring for others.

The truth is that there is nothing that can substitute for simply working hard to accomplish our goals while showing respect and honor for those around us. I do know about a bit about walking through tough times and how they transform our thoughts. We can choose to learn and grow through difficulties or we can become bitter victims of our situation.

John Bentley knows what it is like to walk through hard times. He also understands hard work. John’s perspective on life and leadership is contagious and encouraging. Take a few minutes to listen or watch my interview with this insightful and seasoned leader. His story will leave you inspired and thankful for those like John who lead with their head and their heart.

Choose to walk through difficult times determined to learn and grow…even when it means doing the hard work, and you will make a difference.
