No Excuses
Ben Franklin said, “He that is good at making excuses is seldom good for anything else.”
We live in a world where making excuses seems to be the norm and taking responsibility seems to be the exception. We point fingers, shame and blame others instead of stepping up with resolve and determination.
This week we honor and remember the men and women who refused to make excuses and instead offered their lives for our country. Their bravery and courage are the foundation of character that defines this nation.
I invite you to take a moment and give thanks for these heroes who allowed us the freedoms we have today. I also invite you to lead without excuses. While we may not be able to control our circumstances, we can control how we walk through them. It begins with taking responsibility and owning our behavior.
Choose to walk through your circumstances with personal responsibility and you will make a difference.
