John Joseph - It’s About More Than Leadership

We have a plethora of leadership advice and help available to us in today’s business and personal cultures. I think we all assume that everyone wants to experience strong healthy leadership in some form. But that assumption was challenged recently by a wise leader with whom I had the pleasure of talking. He suggested that some people are not at a point of hearing or applying leadership practices.

His thought was that before we start trying to lead others, we need to stop and think about where they are in their lives. Are they experiencing fear, hopelessness or loss? Are they just trying to survive in this wacky world in which we live? Do we truly care about people more than we care about leading?

This brilliant and insightful leader is John Joseph. He thinks deeply and practically at the same time. While he has numerous leadership accolades, it is his depth and vulnerability that make him truly inspirational.

John is my guest on this edition of my Crossing The Line podcast. Do yourself a favor and listen to or watch John’s interview. I came away from my time with him truly enriched and I think you will too.

Take the time to invest in more than just leadership and you will make a difference.
